گر گئے ہو تو اٹھو، گرد جھٹک کر دیکھو
راستہ اب بھی وہیں ہے، ذرا ہٹ کر دیکھو
جو اندھیرا ہے وہ مہمان ہے کچھ پل کا فقط
اپنے اندر کے چراغوں کو پلٹ کر دیکھو
Gir gaye ho to utho, gard jhatak kar dekho
Raasta ab bhi wahin hai, zara hat kar dekho
Jo andhera hai woh mehmaan hai kuchh pal ka faqat
Apne andar ke charaaghon ko palat kar dekho
गिर गए हो तो उठो, गर्द झटक कर देखो
रास्ता अब भी वहीं है, ज़रा हट कर देखो
जो अँधेरा है वो मेहमान है कुछ पल का फ़क़त
अपने अंदर के चराग़ों को पलट कर देखो

وہ خود سے مل کے سارے جہاں سے گزر گیا
پیڑ نے دھوپ سہی، چھاؤں ہمیں بانٹ دی
ایسی سخاوت کہاں ہم نے کہیں سیکھی ہے
